FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS:

Which session will you attend?

Overview:

This summer series explores what it means to remain connected to God in a consistent and meaningful way. Each Sunday highlights a different aspect of abiding, helping both campers and staff learn how to stay grounded in their faith, during camp and beyond.

The goal is not just a temporary experience, but a lasting foundation: encouraging everyone to grow spiritually, stay connected to God, and carry that faith into everyday life.

First session:

Saturday, June 27th, 12pm

Free lunch to follow at 1:00 PM

Theme: What Does It Mean to Abide? Speaker: Indigo Funk Format: Traditional Scripture: John 15:4–5

“Abide in me as I abide in you. Just as the branch cannot bear fruit by itself unless it abides in the vine, neither can you unless you abide in me.

I am the vine, you are the branches. Those who abide in me and I in them bear much fruit, because apart from me you can do nothing.”

Connection Points:

  • Interconnectedness and togetherness

  • We are all part of God’s creation, including nature (not just humans, all of creation)

  • Rest: the vine doesn’t strain to fulfill its purpose

  • Surrender: letting God lead Identity and original design, discovering your purpose through letting go

  • Being open to receiving from God (we need “rain” to grow) Listening for how God is calling you to live

Second session:

Saturday, July 4th, 12pm

Free lunch to follow at 1:00 PM
