My education is in Engineering and Robotics; I went to Harvey Mudd for my undergraduate studies and then Carnegie Mellon for graduate school. Since leaving graduate school, I have pursued high school teaching where I have taught primarily physics and computer science. Currently I'm living near Baltimore, Maryland where I am working at an independent school, working hard to create a strong computer science program and also teaching physics classes. I’m looking forward to spending time getting to know people and talking about God.

Currently I live here at the Woods and attend church at First Pres in Santa Rosa. In 2015, I received a certificate in Railroad Operations, but now I am looking forward to the fall when I will be pursuing a bachelor’s degree in history and hope to get a teaching credential as well. Until then, I am super excited to be back again at the Woods as a coordinator, running the Redwood Center, and hanging out with the campers!

Sarah Lovejoy

Childcare Coordinator. I grew up in Rocklin, California, near Sacramento. I attended Shepherd of the Sierra Presbyterian Church through the end of high school, and visit that church family every chance I get. I spent a lot of time exploring the trails of Auburn, reading my summers away, coming to camp here at Westminster Woods, backpacking in Tahoe, and rock climbing in old quarries. I graduated from UCLA this spring with a degree in English Literature. After camp this year, I plan to get a job working with kids, preferably in ministry, down in LA. I also plan to go into education and will be working toward a teaching credential in the next few years so that I can hang out with kids all the time! In the meantime, I am so excited to spend my summer with Camp Kids and go on hikes, play games, and learn about nature and God with them!

Since moving to the area I have been attending First Presbyterian Church in Santa Rosa. William (Forrest) Turner

High School Camp Coordinator. Hi! Some people call me Will, but you can call me Forrest here at camp. I am super excited to be the High School Camp Program Coordinator this summer! I love youth ministry and more recently found my calling in social work. Feel free to ask me about either! I have been a summer staff employee here for the last three summers. I loved being on staff from the start. I have been on the Youth Staff at my church for the last nine years. We hold weekly groups and yearly trips to camp and on mission trips. The last year and a half I spent as a case manager for homeless young adults. I was a part of an awesome team helping those who could benefit the most. I am currently in the process of moving to Oregon, but don't worry. Camp is always a home for me.
