Thank you for choosing Westminster Woods Environmental Education Program. We are excited about your upcoming environmental education experience. We offer an amazing teaching site nestled on 200 acres in the redwood forest. Flowing through the middle of our property, Dutch Bill Creek provides a wonderful place to explore and learn about watershed education.
We are located in western Sonoma County six miles from the Pacific Ocean, a special place for tide pooling and studying marine ecology. Our challenge course develops team building, communication and leadership skills. Our experienced naturalists have college degrees and are trained in CPR and first-aid. They create a safe and nurturing learning environment. Our student to naturalist ratio is one to fifteen.

Zero Waste Lunch Lesson Plan
Here is a lesson from Closing the Loop, on the issue of packaging waste and creating a zero waste lunch. See if you can challenge your students to bring a zero waste lunch to Westminster Woods on your first day.
Please call with any questions. We look forward to working with you soon!
Warmly from the Redwoods,
