New discoveries are under the next rock or high in a redwood tree if you know where to look. With the help of a naturalist, Junior Explorers learn the awesome details of the workings of the redwood forest. Campers come to treasure God’s creation and to take responsibility for caring for our natural world.

Camp length:
6 nights, Sunday afternoon – Saturday morning
Sleeping Accommodations: Campers sleep on bunk beds inside cabins, huts or platform tents. Each unit has electricity. Bathrooms are centrally located.
Eating: Campers eat outdoors on picnic tables in groups of about 35. One meal is cooked outdoors over coals.
Activities: Swimming, hiking, archery, crafts, games, Bible studies, creek exploration, stargazing, redwood ecology, end-of-week faire, creek traverse, mini-zip line, singing, project to help the environment
Camp size: Up to 65 campers
Cabin size: 6-10 campers per unit; 1:6 counselor to camper ratio
Family Groups: approximately 30 campers, Co-Ed
