Westminster Woods values the way High School students have serves as volunteer counselors in the past. We want to continue to give opportunities for you to serve in a way that prepares you properly and lets you serve in all areas of camping ministry. We have revamped our volunteer program into BRIDGE.
Your BRIDGE week will be spent living in intentional community and serving the camp by bringing their excitement and input to camp programs, games, skits, projects and campfires. After successfully completing this program, participants may be placed in cabins as counselors or co-counselors for a week or longer or in support positions.
During the first week participants will also engage in Bible Study, be trained in CPR and First Aid, be mentored by staff, meet with speakers, complete interactive and hands-on counselor training, and enjoy some relaxing activities.

Each week has a limited number of spots and you can only counsel after you complete the BRIDGE week. The sooner that you apply and register the better chance you will have at securing your desired week.
- BRIDGE participants need to be entereing their Junior or Senior Year of high school and be 16 years of age. This is the age requirement for ACA Accreditation (American Camping Association).
- You will be asked to commit to volunteer at least one week after successfully completing the BRIDGE program
- BRIDGE must be completed the same summer that you wish to volunteer.
- The nominal cost topartially cover food, lodging, and training is $200.
