Summer Internship:
If you are a graduating 12th grade student you are eligible for a Summer Intern position.
This is intended to be a summer of service and a learning opportunity for those who have recently graduated from high school. There is much more to working at camp than one learns by being a camper or even a volunteer.
The summer internship is for 6 weeks. Summer interns participate in Orientation week, live in staff housing , and are considered staff.
The difference is that interns will work in program support positions and take part in additional learning opportunities throughout the summer.
Interns will likely have an opportunity to counsel and/or co-counsel, depending on the need, but the majority of the summer may be spent in support roles.
Completing a summer internship will increase ones likelihood of being hired on for summer staff in following years.
- Details: 6 weeks, beginning Saturday afternoon, June 19th, 2010 and culminating on Saturday evening July 31st, 2010.
- Compensation: You will receive room and board, one day off a week, a staff t-shirt, and a stipend of $120/week.
- Requirements: Successful completion of High School, a Christian faith, and a servant's heart.
- Helpful: Prior completion of the BRIDGE.
Approximately 10 interns will be hired.
